Paul’s First Journey

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

Paul’s first journey started when Barnabus and he were selected by members of the congregation at Antioch to spread the Word of God to new places. Starting out from Antioch, they sailed to Cyprus, venturing to regions in what today is now Turkey.

Paul’s Conversion is amazing

Friday, June 23rd, 2006

When Ananias is called by the Lord to help Paul, Ananias does not understand this being that Paul was evil.  In Acts 9:15 Jesus explains “Paul is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel”

Paul’s conversion was amazing.  He went from being a murderer of Christians to serving time in prison for believing in and spreading the message of Christ.

Gain an even greater appreciation for Paul in the strategic game Journeys of Paul > an excellent combination of strategy, skill and chance!

Paul is one of the greatest teachers of Jesus Christ ever and truly was a chosen vessel unto Him to bear His name before the Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

Paul’s conversion

Acts 3 - 9

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.  And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

When Ananias was called by The Lord to help Paul, he did not quite understand it.

Why should such a man be healed, one who has done so much evil to the saints at Jerusalem?

Christ explains in Acts 9:15 “Paul is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel”
